This download includes 4 sets of questions (10 questions each) and answer keys, with each question set covering 800 lines of the 3,200 line poem Beowulf. I wrote these questions to help guide my high school students through a 4-week Beowulf unit. The questions are a mix of comprehension and deeper analysis, designed to require responses of 2 to 4 sentences each. In each question set, I've also tried to include at least one open-ended question that can be used for class discussions. See the preview sample file for examples.
